The
Model 501B provides the ability to generate laboratory quality results
in a very reliable field online instrument. This instrument has been designed
to operate with a minimum of maintenance so that it can be maintained
by instrumentation technicians or by personnel with a minimum of training.
The PID Analyzers (HNU) Model 501-B Automatic Gas Chromatograph can be
used to monitor hydrocarbons, fixed gases and other compounds specifically
at ppb to % levels. The 501-B is ideal for process monitoring as a result
of its high uptime and diagnostics, minimizing worker exposure while area
monitoring through Quickscan, compliance with government regulations
of the Clean Air Act of 1990 or the Clean Water Act with the optional
sparger. Troubleshooting by plant personnel is made easy with the 501-A
self-diagnostics, MODBUS communications, and the HNU-Net capability
which allows the user to change instrument settings, perform diagnostics,
collect data from a remote location. VuGraph allows the user to remotely
view the chromatogram.
