Model 202 Infrared Analyzer for LEL,
Hydrocarbons, CH4, CO, CO2
The new model 202 is a reliable, flexibleand versatile non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) analyzer. This design is based upon the hnu model 201A coupled with an ultra stable IR optical bench. These instruments have a wide dynamic range (high ppm to %). This extends the applications and versatility of our products and primarily for stack, process and industrial measurements.

This dual beam (reference and measurement wavelength) IR instrument is very stable and has a fast response (15 seconds to 90%). It is ideal for process control, stack measurements (CH4, CO, CO2) or even ambient levels of CO2.

Infrared is best used for measuring one or different chemical structures with a specific functional group in the presence of other compounds without that functional group. For example, for the measurement of a chlorinated hydrocarbon in the presence of a series of alkanes, we would then make a determination at the C-C1 frequency.
